Immersed: Landscapes of the Moving World - Dr. Chris Greer
Join us for a Special Exhibition featuring landscape photographer Dr. Chris Greer. Titled Immersed: Landscapes of the Moving World, the exhibition opens with a public reception on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. and will be on view April 24–May 30, 2026 at Madison Artists Guild (125 W Jefferson Street, Madison, GA 30650).
Greer’s large-scale prints invite viewers into sweeping mountain vistas, quiet woodland scenes, and dramatic skies—images made to convey both the grandeur and the subtle detail of the natural world. The Special Exhibition showcases a curated selection of recent work, with pieces ranging from intimate framed prints to striking panoramic and metal presentations. This exhibition is sponsored by Scott Key Law. Gallery hours are Monday–Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The opening reception is free and open to the public, featuring catered fare from Tacos on Main (Mansfield, GA) and live music by Terry & Jami Brailey.
Greer shares “My photography is driven by a simple goal: to share the scale and beauty of the natural world… For me, the process is as important as the result; I am at my best when I’m outside, camera in hand, immersed in nature.”
Featured works include “Sunrise on Blood Mountain,” “Brilliant Light in the Georgia Mountains,” “Milky Way over Helton Creek Falls,” “Bláhylur in Iceland,” and “Stormy Sea in the Faroe Islands,” among others.
