MAGallery Artist

I live in the North High Shoals Community by the Apalachee River, in a beautiful old home on a sweet spot of land we call “God’s Little Acre.”  It is here that I admire nature, work the soil & paint.

Drawing & painting has always been in my blood.  I studied art at the University of Georgia, majored in Political Science & later, obtained a degree in Animal & Dairy Science.  Through it all, I have had my art as my passion. 

Traveling to Italy inspired me profoundly, as have my trips to Scotland, home of my maternal ancestors.  Both captured my soul & I paint scenes from these countries & from inspirations closer to home, imparting the essence of each.  And the horses, well, the horses have always been in my life.  Magnificent beings, I hope to show their spirit & beauty through my brush.
